I have 2 tables with part number and description fields with more than 45000 rows each. i need to select the describtion from table 1 that matches desc. from table 2 based on a high percentage word match or some algorithm. for example, partnumber 1 from tbl 1 should match to part number 454 from table 2. somebody mentioned fuzzy logic, but too complicated for me. i'm just new to acccess. thanks in advance
