Another way would be to create the standard form and then specify it in 
Tools>Options>Forms/Reports>Templates but this works only for new forms / 
reports that are created without using a wizard.

  Yes but that is just copying it with the same information... i mean the 
  same layout getting information from a different table/query. an easy 
  way instead of going into properties on each individual cell and 
  changing the attached data.
