Not sure what event you are going to use to get the value in there and it also
sounds like you have two columns on your drop down.
In the After Update of the combo box put
txtUserName = cboUser.Column( 1)
Column 1 is the ordinal position of the second column which should be the
actual text value that corresponds to the combo boxes user id.
