  thanks for the response. I think i am looking for something different than 
what you have.
  I am looking to populate a column with date values from Now() to 60 days back 
and these
  values are not coming from the database and then I have summary data that is 
coming out of the database.
  
I am thinking of doing an union query to run the query for each day seperately 
or 
  populate a table daily that will give me the Now date for that day and then 
do trending
  based on that data.

that returns the records within 90 days of the days date of course 
you can change the number to suit what you are looking for. I have a 
couple other expressions in different databases here I will check and
