  Subject: [ms_access] format date

  Hi,
I'm using Access 2003. In my db I have a report using a control in a
form. The control is in short day format and has the default value
"Now()". When I open my report I see the date with time included (for
  example 12.02.2009 6.34). I wish to see it as 12.02.2009. I used
format([mycntrl];"dd.mmm.yyyy") but couldn't solve the problem. In
summary how can I see the current date without time? Thanks for your help.
  Ruhi
