Hello:

I am not a database guru at all, but I've been tasked with creating one for
work.

What I need to do is track how many days late an evaluation is. The evals
are based on a person's anniversary date, and are considered late on the
31st day past their anniversary.

For instance, my seniority date is 3/18/2008, which means my evaluation
would be due on 3/18 every year. As long as it is received within 30 days,
it's not late.

How do I calculate this? I've looked at the datediff function, but it
confuses me. The fields I have to calculate this are:

Seniority Date (this is their anniversary date)
Date Received
Due Date (I don't know if I need this field for this calculation, but I can
use it to notify supervisors when an evalution needs to be received in HR.
For that purpose, the due would be 30 days after their anniversary.

Also, do I have to set that up as a query? I know it's a lot of questions,
but I am not good with Access at all--other than very basic data entry and
VERY basic databases.

I appreciate any help with this. Thanks!
