Hi, My name is Blake West. I'm a long-time MuseScore user and one of the co-inventors of Hummingbird notation (www.hummingbirdnotation.com). We've received quite a bit of interest in the system in the last week, and had a slew of devs reach out trying to help build translation software, and so I'm interested in potentially using MuseScore to create a "plug-in" that could render Hummingbird. I had heard a while back that MuseScore only supported one font and that it did not allow for new fonts or customization of the existing one, and thus could not support any new custom glyphs.
I'm curious how true this is? Like how much of an issue would it be to import new custom glyphs into MuseScore? Also, we'd need to change how beaming looks, ties and dots, etc. How flexible is all of this, considering that the general scaffolding of Hummingbird is the same as traditional, but with a new font. Thanks for any insights you can provide. - Blake -- View this message in context: http://dev-list.musescore.org/New-Glyphs-in-MuseScore-for-Hummingbird-tp7578034.html Sent from the MuseScore Developer mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Precog is a next-generation analytics platform capable of advanced analytics on semi-structured data.
