Ok - maybe the guy was being a bit purist about it :)

Regarding the new structure I'm still waiting to hear from MarkRS regarding
coding.

He's not been active anywhere on the MuseScore forums since February, which
may mean that he has lost interest in the project.

I will try emailing him again tomorrow, but if I haven't heard from him  by
Saturday we may have to look for another coder to implement this.

Since I started work on the DTD I have since come across an application
which will generate a DTD file and an XSD file for an XML structure document
called XMLPad.

I ran both of these on the existing Instruments.xml and I now have generated
DTD and XML Schema files for it which are available for anyone to peruse.

Would it be suitable to add them to the share/templates folder of the
Musescore main branch via a custom branch and pull request?
