Hi, FYI MuseScore is being used in the R&D of a swiss project - SSMN (Spatialization Symbolic Music Notation) - using version 2.0 (MuseScoreSSMN) interfaced with rendering engines. If you want to know more, begin with http://www.icst.net/research/current-projects/ssmn-spatialization-symbolic-music-notation/ then contact me. Al the best for your move for the summer to neighboring Germany.

It will be a very short book (40 pages) targeted at non-tech-savvy users. I spend the majority of it discussing the basic features of MuseScore. It is similar to the handbook, but only includes the most essential information. I cover all of notation and all of the basics, page layout, lyrics, and part extraction. My most difficult decision was whether to include more information about MuseScore.com. I decided against it for a few reasons. First, since it is not tied directly to MuseScore, the interface may change independently of MuseScore releases. Also, since it requires Flash, I don't want to suggest non-free software. I do, however, have a paragraph discussing what it is and how it can be used as a resource. I am also looking for information about large works people have used MuseScore for. I saw the thread in the forums, but it was difficult to find much concrete from it. Also, I am sorry if I am unable to respond to emails right away, as I am in the process of moving into an apartment in Germany for the summer and will have limited email access. Thank you all, and let me know if you have any questions. -- View this message in context: http://dev-list.musescore.org/MuseScore-tutorial-book-tp7578161.html Sent from the MuseScore Developer mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Get 100% visibility into Java/.NET code with AppDynamics Lite It's a free troubleshooting tool designed for production Get down to code-level detail for bottlenecks, with <2% overhead.
