Hi,
Thanks for your input. IAC is MacOSX only. MuseScore is a cross platform
software available on Windows, Mac and Linux, so IAC will not cut it
unfortunately.
MuseScore 2.0 will have a new audio architecture
http://musescore.org/en/node/20818 but there is no plan to support external
sound synthesizer.
