Yes, I'm aware of this OMR. I've called it "Werner's OMR" in my post. BTW, I recently tried to compile MS with OMR enabled. The build fails with a galore of errors. IIRC, the Werner's OMR was a try to implement a simply OMR engine from scratch. Kudos to Werner! Audiveris is a stand-alone, perhaps the only working open-source OMR project.
