Moonlake, I just missed you on IRC, you are welcome to come back when
you want. Except Marc, most of the active developers are in western
europe.

Not much to add on what Marc just said. The best bug to start with is
the one that you are personally interested to kill because you'll
probably spend a lot of time fixing it. If you explain here or on IRC
what you use MuseScore for, I could give you some ideas about which
bugs to hunt.
