Hi, You have some nice ideas. Power tab import, why not, but it would be better to focus on good quality GP import first. Once GP import is mature, a plugin to search on tab websites would be handy indeed. I don't understand your third point.
In any way, you can download MuseScore source code at http://github.com/musescore/MuseScore and compile it http://musescore.org/en/developers-handbook/compilation Your application for GSoC is due before march 21st 19:00 UTC (tomorrow) and it needs to be submitted on http://google-melange.com Regards, lasconic 2014-03-20 12:02 GMT+01:00 vildhet <[email protected]>: > Hi! > I've read your ideas for GSoC and found some of it quite interest and > useful. > Most of all I liked the one about Guitar Pro import, because I've been > looking for decent open source > tool capable of reading gtp format for quite a long time) > And now I finally found an excellent opportunity to help in creating of such > a program. > I also have some personal ideas to add.
