There has been some talk about possibly reimplementing glissandi and/or melisma lines to better handle lines that cross system breaks. I know we're getting down to the wire, and just thought I'd see if there is any chance of bringing this to some sort of closure - either getting it done (Miwarre?), or making a definitive decision not to pursue it for 2.0.
This has never totally left my mind, but it came up for me today I just spent the morning working on a bug involving glissandi and cross-staff notation that I *think* stems from the same underlying design issue and might well fix itself if the implementation of glissandi is changed to be more spanner-like. In particular, if the layout happens later in the process, as it does for spanners, so we can know page offsets. Meanwhile, I've submitted https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/1439 for consideration, which at least lay outs glissandi less obviously terribly in cross-system and cross-staff situations. -- View this message in context: http://dev-list.musescore.org/glissando-and-meslima-lines-for-2-0-tp7579032.html Sent from the MuseScore Developer mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ Mscore-developer mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mscore-developer
