I either missed or forgot the background to this, but is there a reason you
are tackling figured bass rather than chord symbols?  The concepts would be
roughly similar, even if the specifics differ, but the latter would have
much braoder appeal.  I know someone else mentioend on IRC they were
interested in tackling that; seems these efforts should be coordinated.
