We don't really have a list of action items. It will mostly depend on your
skill set.
If you are a (C++) developer, you can check the issue tracker
https://musescore.org/en/project/issues and pick one of the bugs. We try to
gather easy bugs here https://musescore.org/en/project/issues?tag=easy but
it's often hard to know if a bug is easy or not beforehand.
If you can speak another language than english, we can use help to
translate the handbook. See https://musescore.org/en/forum/9
There are probably other areas where you could help depending on what you
like and what you feel MuseScore needs. Feel free to pass by our IRC
channel #musescore on freenode.net if you want to have a live chat.
