Debian is in charge of making packages for Debian users. So it's probably
better to ask them.

Also for the next version of MuseScore 2.0.3 (current is 2.0.2 btw), we
will have a portable AppImage version of MuseScore for Linux that you will
be able to download straight from our website. It should work on Debian,
Ubuntu and the hundred other distributions with different package managers
and build systems... If you want, you can try a nightly build here
https://dl.bintray.com/musescore/nightlies-linux/x86_64/. It's for 64 bit
only for the moment, and it's better to get the most recent 2.0.3 (and not
master).
