Thank you for your reply!
I'm on Manjaro, which is practically identical to Archlinux.
gcc-6.1.1
currently 4GB RAM
I've compiled musescore several times already on this machine, up to commit bed9e2a and it was normally not a problem ;)

kind regards
Bernhard

git-master is still failing to build for me with the same error:

    CMakeFiles/mscore.dir/qrc_musescorefonts-MScore.cpp.o: file not
    recognized: File truncated
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
    make[2]: *** [mscore/CMakeFiles/mscore.dir/build.make:5933:
    mscore/mscore-git] Error 1
    make[1]: *** [CMakeFiles/Makefile2:294:
    mscore/CMakeFiles/mscore.dir/all] Error 2
    make: *** [Makefile:150: all] Error 2

Anyone like to shed some light on this, please?
