I had pretty much the same question which I posed in person at FOSDEM. I think it was you lasconic which I talked to, and you mentioned the easy issues. I had no difficulty finding the issue tracker, but finding the way to get to the issues marked 'easy' proved to be a bit more difficult. The discoverability of this category is low in my experience. I took the liberty of adding a link to the issues tagged 'easy' to the 'Your first submission' page ( https://musescore.org/en/developers-handbook/your-first-submission).
