I understand it's inconvenient but it's the only way to get both versions
compiled. It should be no problem to have 2 or more versions of Qt
installed at the same time if there is a single qmake in the PATH. It works
perfectly on both Mac and Windows.
QWindowSystemInterface is not documented in Qt because it's not a public
API class. It's part of the code

since at least Qt 5.3.
