I gave a shot at this "look-ahead" feature, a snapshot of it working is at:

for non-FB-ers, the image should be visible even without a FB account, and
comment says:

This is a snapshot of the "lookahead" feature: the bright LEDs highlight the
notes to be played (A on the left hand and high C on the right hand), which MuseScore's
tutor is waiting for before moving on, whilst the dim LEDs highlight the notes that will
come right after (middle C and E in the pic). At early stages when you don't know a piece
yet, you can get more quickly to guess the right fingering, knowing (seeing) what you'll
have to play right after.
This can be optionally enabled via the third "tutor" checkbox on the top
toolbar (also visible on the left pic).

The tutor look-ahead checkbox can be enabled independently of the "wait for user key
presses" checkbox, albeit it makes most sense when this last one is also checked.

Last crazy plan for exploiting RGB lights, is the one to show the fingering on
the lights, e.g., with a pre-defined mapping alike red, green, blue, yellow,
cyan, white corresponding to thumb, ... [2nd, 3rd, ... whatever finger names
are in English ;-P]. However, that would need an algorithm to come up with a
fingering proposal for beginners. Anyone knowing of a working algorithm of this
kind? (perhaps customizing the result on your hand size/span).

Comments welcome, thx.
