It'll just be different, and possibly more involved. > In MSEide+MSEgui we need cracker classes and mad workarounds in order to > implement extensions and to bend the original behaviour. I think the time As by now you already know of most of the bends and twists applied, why not just take care of them from the outset (the known ones, at least;)? > has come to leave FCL compatibility and to clean up the whole insanity. Though this might not be the worst alternative... We need to find a solution _Are_ _there_ _any_? Not to my knowledge, at least. And if so, probabely MSE-IDE/MSE-GUI based ones only. (Or could you implant, say, an fpGUI component int MSE-IDE for use with an MSE-GUI based application?) Although one _can_ use FPC-only derived components, they will have to be created and handled explicitely anyway, won't they? So there's probabely no problem here anyway, and noone seems to care above it. -- (Weitergabe von Adressdaten, Telefonnummern u.ä. ohne Zustimmung nicht gestattet, ebenso Zusendung von Werbung oder ähnlichem) ----------------------------------------------------------- Mit freundlichen Grüßen, S.
