I am setting up a .tar.gz for mseide-msegui (and later .deb and .rpm packages).
I am going to place mseide-msegui into /usr/local/lib/mseide-msegui/version.info with a link from /usr/local/bin/mseide-msegui to /usr/local/lib/mseide-msegui/version.info/mseide-msegui. I will wait a few days for comment / feedback on this approach before I continue. Let me know what you think.
