I still think it's a rubbish test though ============================= On some LINUX machine , it has even showed UTF8 to be 3 (!) times as faster then the others [and Ansistring included as well ] :) Me guess, we should consider L2/3 cache hit ratio & prevent from clearing these caches w/o need.
