The user *must* have an attention about range. So this type can not be the base. ==================== Why ? Both my large projects PODPISKA & ROZNITSA don't care about value ranges - they just rely on the default INTEGER type LONGINT (or CARDINAL for unsigned data) fits any data of these projects.
Why INTEGER & FLOAT are same as to their nature ? They're assigmnent & operation compatible even without type casting.
