I also think this is a nice idea. Instead of introducing "result" as a 
ghostly variable (i.e as a syntax keyword) just omitting it looks rather 
logical.

But the concept could be easily extended to allow for

:= rvalue;

  in any location within a sub

and even allowing for

rvalue :=;

  in any location within a sub, as well
