highlight text (eg shift double click on a word!), 'copy', 'paste' somewhere
else, text is pasted but still selected, so if you now type any character the
pasted text is deleted again. Usually editors (including Laz, Word and Mail) do
not leave the pasted text selected.
Double clicking to select a word is 'standard' too.
