Fair enough - still a non-standard behaviour. ;-) Feature Request: Could you implement an editor action "select word" which can select the current word the cursor is in. We can then assign a keyboard shortcut to it. That would help alleviate the matter a lot. Plus it would be much shorter than Ctrl+Left, Shift+Ctrl+Right.
