  Your solution with TChartEdit suits me well, thanks. Nevertheless I 
suppose you should not hesitate to design the TMinMaxSlider since it is 
indeed a good new feature for MSEGUI. For your inspiration I could say that 
the proposed TMinMaxSlider along with already present TSlider are elements 
of so-called "protected" HMI applicable for exclusive control by mouse 
and/or user's finger (on touchscreens) and for avoiding direct input from 
keyboard.
  Slide ranges are widely used in HTML-based GUIs for constructing price 
queries ans other stuff. As for me, I would like to use range slider as the 
protected controller for bandwidths within the appropriate range in my 
application devoted to infrared spectroscopy analytics.
