On old laptop I have Intel HD 4400. On new one Intel HD Graphics 520
Skylake + dedicated Nvidia GTX 960M handled by nvidia-prime swtich.
Must say that this intel card is too much brand new and got silver
hairs configurating it. Had to install latest linux kernel 4.6 to make
it "tolerably" work and also create file
/usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-intel.conf with content:
Section "Extensions"
Option "XVideo" "Disable"
EndSection
Section "Device"
Identifier "Intel Graphics"
Driver "intel"
Option "AccelMethod" "uxa"
Option "TearFree" "true"
Option "DRI" "3"
EndSection
... because I even could not watch movies (movie was not scalable and
always on top). Wanted to test icons drawing on nvidia profile but
switch doesn't work on kernel 4.6 so I can work on intel card only :(
What I can test for you? You mentioned about testprogram but don'at
see any attachments
