OK, all is fixed now, compies + link + run 32 bit applications on a 64 bit multi-arch system. This patch for the fpc compiler did the trick (this for fpc 3.1.1): fpc_checkelf2.gz <http://mseide-msegui-talk.13964.n8.nabble.com/file/t2/fpc_checkelf2.gz> In short, /usr/lib32/ was added in the search path and a function to check the signature of the ELF of the file-object given to the script-for-linker. MSE + FpGUI 32 bit apps compiles+link+run like charm on Manjaro 64 bit. For 32 bit apps using LCL-Qt4 it compiles and run OK too but for LCL-Gtk2 the apps fail to run. It is not a problem of LCL but last fontconfig.so 32 bit that is not compatible with last Gtk2 32 bit.
