I am attaching the test project only with the original message. This used to work in the past.I don't know when it happened. Possibly when I updated from debian stretch to buster (64 bit).
atttached is a test project and 2 images.Image stringdisp.png shows a tstringdisp in the object inspector with the color property set to cl_green. There is a small green rectangle to show it is selected.
Image testprj.png shows the running project. The string dsplay show color white, it should be green.
I don't know if this is related to the graphics card issues on something in mseide.
