I use the keyboard of the pc and vmpk (Virtual MIDI Piano Keyboard): https://vmpk.sourceforge.io/ It is part of many distros including redhat and debian ( sudo apt-get install vmpk). MIDI is hard to make work on Linux. I had some success with midi-station like Rosegarden and Ardour. Thanks for your demo, I will try it with great attention.
