Hello, Any guidance or thoughts on this issue?
I am struggling with an issue regarding W2K3 Logical Disk Free Space (MB) monitoring on one of our W2K3 servers. Per the MP guide, we've disabled the "Logical Disk Free Space" monitor, so that we can individually monitor Disk Free (%) or Disk Free (MB), depending on our needs. We've configured a custom override for all Windows Server 2003 Logical Disk Free (MB) Low monitoring as follows: Enabled = True Error Threshold for Non-System Drives = 2000 Error Threshold for System Drives = 1000 Warning Threshold for Non-System Drives = 4000 Warning Threshold for System Drives = 2000 All other parameters for this monitor are default. We have a server that needs to have monitoring for the D:\ drive customized so that the "Error Threshold for Non-System Drives" = 24000. So, I created a custom override directly for the <servername>\D: object, which is now configured as: Error Threshold for Non-System Drives = 24000 We started noticing Closed alert notifications for this custom override threshold, but no New alert notifications, so when I checked the Closed alerts I found through the Health Explorer that the State Change tab was listing two states, both with the exact same time stamp: Healthy-to-Critical and Critical-to-Healthy Again, both state changes have the exact same time stamp. The Active Alert console never shows the new Alert, only the Closed Alert console shows any evidence that an issue occurred. We also checked the length of the error condition and found the threshold was breached for at least 15-20mins. Any ideas of what I'm missing? All servers using the All Windows Server 2003 Logical Disk Free (MB) Low custom override are behaving correctly.
