I doubt Microsoft will issue a statement of support, as SCOM 2007 R2 has ended mainstream support. Hello, We've still got a small SCOM 2007 R2 environment up and running for our systems that are not compatible with/on SCOM 2012, ie. W2K servers. Our SQL DBAs are beginning a project to apply SP4 to all SQL Server 2008 installations, however, we don't know if SQL Server 2008 SP4 is compatible/supported on/with SCOM 2007 R2. The SCOM 2007 R2 web site only seems to go up to SQL Server 2008 SP3 and I suspect that's because SQL Server 2008 SP4 was only recently released (ie. 30 Sep 2014) Does anyone know of SCOM 2007 R2 is compatible to run on SQL Server 2008 SP4?
