We've just about had it with SecureVantage's support or lack thereof. We've been waiting for almost a month for some support and have either heard "we're working on it" or at this point just nothing... Anyone know any products out there that are similar? Incase your not familiar SecureVantage enhances SCOM ACS. The one feature we liked about SecureVantage was the ability to archive the ACS database after a certain number of days and keep an infinite amount of archives. Then if we ever had to go back to do an audit for a time period in the past we could just load the specific archive and run a report against it all withing SCOM's Report GUI.
Currently with ACS out of the box I don't believe there is a way to do that. Hence if you want to keep your data searchable for a year you would have to keep a huge database online. This isn't practical because the queries take forever and as we all know, that first query probably isn't going to get what you want and so you have to usually run several queries. So is there anything else out there cause if not, then it sounds like we can't use ACS to do what we want and will have to look for something else as far as Security auditing goes.
