One more question.
1. The instructions state to "Manually import the management packs.". Was
the download of CU4 for SCOM 2012 R2 supposed to come with newer management
packs? Are there new MPs that need to be installed after I upgrade the SCOM
server to CU4?

Thanks
Karen

We will place agents into pending, based on the following criteria:

1. Agents must be set to Remotely Manageable = Yes

2. Agents assigned to a specific management server will flip into pending
at the moment that the Update Rollup is applied to the management server they
are assigned to.

A common failure for this to work, is that the Update Rollup should be called
by an elevated command prompt. UAC plays havoc with the Update Rollup post
install processes.

Hi,
I upgraded my SCOM Dev management server, etc but not all the servers appeared
in the Pending Management area to upgrade the agent to CU4. All the servers are
recognized as Remote. Is there another way to get all the servers to appear
under Pending management area after the management servers, etc are upgraded to
CU4?
Thx
