Hi Everyone, Recently, I had the opportunity to use 3rd party html 5 dashboard solution for SCOM. It was so fast, useful and pleasant to play with that I realized how broken SCOM is right now. What I liked about that product was how easy you can browse performance metrics collected by SCOM and easily adjust the timeline (last 7 days, 30 days last year). Well, many other things I liked but this mail is not about promoting that product. This email is more for complaining about SCOM :( !! I looked at the Teched 2014 sessions(System Center Operations Manager: Monitoring in a Modern World<http://channel9.msdn.com/Events/TechEd/Europe/2014/CDP-B347>) describing where they are putting their effort and nothing about the aging Silverlight web console replacement, nothing that looked major to me about SCOM. It looks to me they are putting all their effort on Ops Insight and relies on 3rd party to fill gaps with SCOM. I do get the importance of Ops Insight but I feel like we are abandoned with SCOM while we still need improvements, and in some cases, major ones.
