26373 - Mostly we just ignore this. It happens in all large environments. Anytime the agent count gets high - the instance count gets high - so some MP's will have to query a large number of objects. This is a normal event and by itself not indicative of a problem.
26319 - This is a generic event used for ALL KINDS of SDK related issues. In this specific case based on your event details - it just means something is connecting to the SDK - then forcibly disconnecting. It could be another management server or process rebooting, disconnecting, etc. I'd not concern myself with it unless you were experiencing some other symptoms. I have 4 management servers, and a SQL cluster with two nodes, one for each of the DB's, OpsDB and Warehouse. I have 14 gateways one for each geographical site location, the largest agent count on a gateway is 620, there are 3 other gateways with between 350 and 500 agents, we have a total agent count of 2700. I've got two Events in the Operations Manager event log of my 4 management servers which I'm battling to trouble shoot. The first one is 26319 The event seems to indicate a network error. Some posts have indicated this refers to the Console, if so, how do I trouble shoot what in the console is causing this, i.e. if it's a view for example, how can I identify it, possibly by tracing? What would I be looking for? What leads me to think that it's not the console, is that only 3 of the 4 management servers are called by users when using the console, the 4th isn't used for console connections, yet it's got these events, about 3 or 4 every hour, like the other 3. [cid:[email protected]] The other Event is 26373 [cid:[email protected]] This link indicates they had a dodgy SQL query, http://www.sqlservercentral.com/Forums/Topic619606-360-1.aspx I checked out the query stats, no queries run by the agent are listed. How do I identify what script and/or scripting language is being called? Any help would be appreciated [ITServiceAssurance_Logo (2)] Gareth Miles System Center Technical Lead Phone: +27 31 580 1582 Mobile: +27 83 648 8559 ________________________________ The information transmitted is intended only for the person or entity to which it is addressed and may contain confidential and/or privileged material.
