Hello Karen You're right as far as I know. I had the same issue here with many SharePoint-alerts.
This description is wrong I guess: Monitor Description A critical state of this Monitor indicates that a SQL Database connection attempt failed for a specified connection string. Note: This Monitor is disabled by default, enable this Monitor if you want this Management Pack to monitor the SQL Database Connection for SharePoint 2016 This monitor was enabled by default and I had to disable. All the alerts with SharePoint-Databases are closed now. Regards Andreas Baumann ICT System Engineer Von: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Im Auftrag von Cooper, Karen A. There is a monitor "SQL Database Connection Failed", the Inherited From is "Sharepoint Database". There are a number of targets that this monitored is used for. If I over wrote (changed enabled from true to false) the Inherited monitor "Sharepoint Database", should I assume that all the other targets will also change Enabled from True to False? I don't' have to create an override for each target. Correct?
