Hi,

I applied the proxy patches from msmtp also to mpop, so now both can
use Tor.

You can also configure e.g. Claws-Mail to use them:
- Set up msmtp
- Set up mpop for delivery to an mbox file
- Create a new Claws-Mail account:
  - Choose "Use local mbox file"
  - Select the mbox file
  - Check "Use mail command rather than SMTP server"
  - Put "msmtp -t" in the command field
  - Create an Action that invokes mpop, and a GUI button for it

However, you also need to make sure that Claws-Mail does not put
sensitive information into mail headers such as Message-ID, and that it
does not invoke network connections. Maybe its --offline option can
help here; does someone know more?

Martin
