After a bit of pain I have successfully compiled msmtp 1.6.5 for Windows using MXE:
--------------------- C:\slrn\msmtp>msmtp --version msmtp version 1.6.5 Platform: i686-w64-mingw32.static TLS/SSL library: GnuTLS Authentication library: GNU SASL Supported authentication methods: plain scram-sha-1 external cram-md5 digest-md5 login ntlm IDN support: enabled NLS: enabled, LOCALEDIR is /usr/local/share/locale Keyring support: none System configuration file name: C:\ProgramData\msmtprc.txt User configuration file name: C:\Users\andrew\AppData\Roaming\msmtprc.txt Copyright (C) 2016 Martin Lambers and others. This is free software. You may redistribute copies of it under the terms of the GNU General Public License <http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.html>. C:\slrn\msmtp> ------------------- It all works fine but the only jarring note is the NLS LOCALEDIR which is set by default to /usr/local/share/locale. unlikely under Windows. Two questions: 1. Is there a compile time option to alter this? 2. What is a sensible location under Windows? Thanks for your trouble, Andrew -- You think that's air you're breathing now? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Developer Access Program for Intel Xeon Phi Processors Access to Intel Xeon Phi processor-based developer platforms.
