Dear Linda, I suggest you to chose the SQlite option instead of MySQL which is a bit more tricky to handle when you just start.
Type msnoise install then 1 for the choice, then Enter directly to give the default name to the database. You should be good to go after that with msnoise admin. http://msnoise.org/doc/workflow/001_msnoise_admin.html Best, Aurelien Le jeu. 6 sept. 2018 à 10:35, Linda Akromah <lakroma...@gmail.com> a écrit : > Thank you > > In the installer I think there is something I am not filling in correctly. > > I chose mysql > > Hostname:I entered the port number > Database:localhost > Username: msnoise (which created in priveleges) > Password:msnoise password > > > In mysql "connect to database"tab > Hostname:localhost Port:3306 > Username:root > Password:root password > > What am I doing wrong > > Regards > Linda Akromah > > > On Thu, 06 Sep 2018, 09:56 Thomas Lecocq <thomas.lec...@seismology.be> > wrote: > > > Hi > > > > 1.
