|You could use Kermit/C-Kermit if you want all that legacy goodness

I have legitimately used uuencode/uudecode to snarf some (short,
thankfully) binary files around when all I had was a serial console and
no other way to get to the host (not even sz/rz in this case, although I
have used that elsewhere too)

sometimes knowing how to do stuff the Old Skool way is kinda useful ...
