Aah, by the time the scale was looking that large I assumed we'd be 
looking at some sort of commercial bulk-pack option. A standard whisky 
barrel is 200 litres, so that'd be a bit over. I've spotted ten litre 
plastic jugs of bulk spirits around, so that might be a more 
cost-effective delivery than the glass bottles.

Now, as it happens, I picked up a bottle of Lagavulin-16 on the weekend 
while performing a critical restocking of mission-critical supplies. A 
retail boxed bottle comes in at 1,409 grams and has a non-discount price 
of $99 from Dan Murphy. So when we take the packaging into account, the 
price is $7,029. Still far in excess of fair market value for a 670MP. If 
we consider taking Lagavulin-8 instead we can drop the price to $5,762.90, 
but that's really not changing the story and the sixteen is much nicer.
