Its not the first time I have seen zones have an issue, but is the first time I have seen this particular issue. Last time I had to deal with this kind of pain, it was at the hands of disagreement between the global and the nongpobals /var/pkg contents. I didn't find a great answer to the issue... ended up hacking around till it worked. (Which involved bad thi gs like building a new zone, and taking its /var/pkg over to the busted zone... )So. Not a lot of help...Sigh. Might be time to log a call? :/Cheers,Nathan.Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone. -------- Original message --------From: paul m <[email protected]> Date: 10/9/20 1:39 pm (GMT+10:00) To: [email protected] Cc: Melbourne Solaris and Oracle Systems User Group <[email protected]> Subject: [msosug] 11.4 upgrades failing Hi All,Anyone seen this before.i was trying to upgrade my nonglobal zones within the ldom from 11.4sru 12 to sru24 and getting this issue.it just bombs out to shell without finishing the linking while trying to do the upgrade.what's weird is i went from 11.4sru12 to sru20 fine today fine , but if i try sru20 to 24 or even 23 same problem happens.# pkg update --accept [email protected] linked: 4/5 done; 1 working: zone:zoneBLAHLinked image 'zone:
