Let's see if I understood your message correctly:

Do you mean that the MSP430 architecture is now fully integrated into the
bintutils toolchain? 

Will changes to the msp430 code only be available from the site quoted
below and hence users who like to stay at the bleeding edge are required
to track the binutils toolchain instead of the diffs that were available
from the mspgcc website?

Personally, I would much prefer a set of diffs against the last stable
release instead of being required to track the complete toolchain until
such time mspgcc has matured and possibly integraded into gcc.
