There is a newer version of rproxy - now called gdbproxy - for Linux
available at:

This uses the current CVS code for gdbproxy, newer code from TI for
driving the JTAG port of the MSP430, and slightly updated code from me
to sit between the two. A Windows version will follow shortly when I
have built it.
There isn't a lot of functional difference in this version, but it seems
faster and more stable. In the next version I will make more substantial
changes in the way the software controls the MSP430.
