Is it 5.3 which has completely changed, or the CVS code post-5.3?

I just pulled new gdb from CVS and see, that API has been completely changed.
However, simulator and external stuff left the same.
So, patching only one file required.
Currently, I'm running out of time to do that.
So, if somebody wish to help - check out new gdb mainline from redhat and try
to figure out what to do.
