I use "critical" and "nop", but they are just simple abbreviations so I have
no problems with defining them myself in my own header files.

Incidently, are there any really significant changes in gcc 3.3/3.4 ? From
what I have read, there are some changes to the way include paths are
searched (which should be fairly irrelevant to the simpler structure of most
msp430-size projects), and some fancier optomisers for big cpus. Is there
any particular reason to switch, other than that it is easier for you to
maintain a single branch?

mvh.
